In this talk, the dynamic effect of non-Newtonian cerebral arterial circulation on electrical conductivity distribution in a realistic multi-compartment head model is discussed. For this purpose a dynamic blood flow model using the Navier-Stokes equations is used. Blood concentration in microvessels is approximated using Fick's law of diffusion, and conductivity mapping is obtained via Archie's law. Comparison with measured data is briefly discussed.
