In this talk, we consider the convergence of the solutions of the Navier-Stokes-Maxwell equations to the solutions of the magnetohydrodynamics equations as the speed of light tends to infinity. To the best of our knowledge, the strong convergence of the strong solutions to the Navier-Stokes-Maxwell equations has not been studied before. We use spectral analysis for the linear operator of the Navier-Stokes-Maxwell system to obtain uniform estimates and demonstrate the convergence of the solutions to those of the magnetohydrodynamics equations.
