In this talk, we introduce PDEs from self-dual gauge field models. We will deal with (1) classification of gauge field models and PDEs related to them, (2) how to derive an elliptic equations from self-dual equations, (3) recent progress on mathematical study of PDEs from Abelian models, and (4) gravitational models.
